Our IONIQ lineup is a proud example of this commitment, and now this fantastic family is making room for its newest three-row, all-electric SUV – IONIQ 9.

IONIQ 9 is a revolutionary three-row, all-electric SUV that marks a new milestone in our continued commitment to electrification leadership.
As a new member of the IONIQ lineup, IONIQ 9 is built upon Hyundai’s proven EV technology, following the footsteps of IONIQ 5 and 6, both triple winners at the World Car Awards in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
Its spacious design provides ample space and responsive features that cater to individual needs while offering a sense of togetherness. Interaction-boosting features, such as advanced seating technology, entertainment, and customization, foster a sense of community and belonging while providing a new way to interact and get the conversation going.

One of IONIQ 9's most immediate impressions is its sleek 'Aerosthetic' exterior, highlighting our dedication to blending aerodynamic innovation and sophisticated, futuristic styling. Its fascinating silhouette continues the clean, refined lines found in all IONIQ models while showcasing new design elements and nuances, such as character lines that resemble the diagonal line on a Hanbok or being the first model to forgo a roof antenna, contributing to its minimalistic style.
IONIQ 9 is engineered to impress from any angle — inside or out. Its intriguing front design incorporates parametric pixels within the LED light units, creating a distinctive and futuristic appearance. The rear's boat tail characteristics continue the theme of pixel-fused seamlessness, enhancing IONIQ 9's aerodynamic performance.
Built for togetherness
With the longest wheelbase of any Hyundai model at 3,130 mm, as well as a width of 1,980 mm and height of 1,790 mm, IONIQ 9 offers an impressive and spacious cabin with ample room in both the second and third rows, ensuring maximum comfort for drivers and passengers alike. Based on the E-GMP platform, we have achieved the best-in-class wheelbase and a completely flat floor that extends all the way to the third row. Another standout feature of IONIQ 9 is its concept of 'responsive space,' meaning it can flexibly respond to passenger's needs and sensibilities and adjust accordingly.
IONIQ 9’s interior design delights everyone who steps inside. Elliptical elements and soothing colors create a relaxing lounge-like ambiance while underway. Its panoramic sunroof allows natural light to stream in, elevating this sense of serenity and relaxation.
A spacious third row breaks the stereotype that the last row is tight and uncomfortable. IONIQ 9 has a large legroom, meaning there’s enough space for anyone to relax and enjoy the ride comfortably.

IONIQ 9 is about creating an innovative and inviting space where everyone feels they belong. Its flexible seating arrangement allows seating space for six or seven passengers. Depending on the configuration, the Relaxation Seats in the first and second rows can fully recline with a leg rest for enhanced comfort, enabling up to four people to rest simultaneously while the vehicle is charging and even enjoy some stargazing together.
Second-row swivel seats allow passengers in the second and third rows to face each other when the vehicle is stationary. This feature enhances passenger interaction and communication, providing another way to enjoy the vehicle's unique space, like sharing a pizza together or even an in-car dinner party.
Built for unforgettable rides
The slidable Universal Island 2.0 console offers ample storage and facilitates a walk-through seating arrangement in the front row, enhancing accessibility and convenience. The bidirectional armrests can be opened from both the front and rear, making it easy for second-row passengers to access the console. Additional features, like a panoramic curved display, a floating dashboard, slim air vents, and ambient lighting, heighten IONIQ 9's futuristic interior atmosphere.
IONIQ 9 has been engineered for reduced road noise levels, with a focus on the unique characteristics of EVs. Sound-absorbing tires and the vehicle’s specially designed structure keep things quiet even when driving on rough roads. Additionally, its Active Noise Control-Road (ANC-R) system ensures that the only thing you hear on the road are the voices of happy passengers.

IONIQ 9 is innovative and multi-talented when it comes to charging options and efficiency. Exciting features include 100W high-output USB-C ports, ultra-fast DC charging (which charges from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes when using a 350-kW charger), and a range of up to 620km (WLTP-estimated, Long-Range RWD model, 19-inch wheels).
IONIQ 9 allows passengers to charge or plug in their beloved belongings on the road as well. It features high-output USB-C ports that provide 100W of power for passengers in the first, second, and even third rows. Our signature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature means that IONIQ 9 is not only built to belong – but also built to power people's belongings. You can charge anything from camping equipment to laptops, telescopes, popcorn-makers and more! Just right for more unforgettable get-togethers.
Built with high-tech highlights
Being behind the wheel of IONIQ 9 is a truly unique experience that connects people to each other and even with the vehicle itself. Drivers and passengers alike can look forward to an AI-enabled voice recognition system, the Hyundai AI assistant, which is similar to a home virtual assistant and activated by a button. The system's status is easily recognizable through dotted indicators, which combine advanced technology with practicality to enhance the EV experience.
Hyundai Motor's new Digital Features and Services give IONIQ 9 customers an exciting opportunity to personalize their vehicles with digital upgrades available via online purchase. The products include, among other options, dynamic lighting patterns and streaming services. What's more, the Display Theme feature allows users to customize their screen with various themes.
IONIQ 9 even has features for those with a slight obsession with cleanliness. If you’re worried that all the comings and goings might invite unwanted viruses to the party, don’t fret – this SUV’s got you covered! IONIQ 9 is equipped with a UV-C sterilizer to meet the needs of prioritizing health and hygiene while on the road. Its multi-tray sterilization function can disinfect small items such as mobile phones, wallets, and masks for a better feeling and more peace of mind.
