Eco-processed leather
Leather used in IONIQ 5’s interior is dyed using flaxseed oil.
Plants turned to components for headlining and carpets
The headlining and carpet fabric includes bio components extracted from sugarcane and corn.
Flowers turned to paint
The IONIQ 5’s crash pad and door trims are painted with bio paint that includes oil extracted from plants such as rape flowers and corn.
Paperette
Look closely at the detailing on the door and you'll find 100% recyclable paperette. Made from HDPE, it has the same lightness and texture of the traditional paper.
Recycled bottles turned to fabric
For each Hyundai IONIQ 5, recycled bottles are shredded into plastic chips that are used for seatback and door armrests.
